It provides the status of every unconventional gas well (+15000 wells) in PA from 2005 to the present. Each well has a comprehensive summary. Wells can be filtered in countless ways to study operators, approximate production remaining, relative performance, availability, status, etc. Locations are shown on a map. The encyclopedia offers a user friendly quick comparison of well production of any unconventional wells for any PA DEP reporting period with a royalty receipt. This includes both wet and dry regions.

To use take the total deductions on the receipt and divide by the gross amount. Find the value closest on the top row and go down to the royalty rate in your lease. The example shown is for a ratio of .45 and a lease rate of 18%. The yields a net royalty of 9.9 %.
